Swim Team News

On Monday, October 30th, all swim team members will meet at Mariposa Park after school for a team building activity. This is a mandatory activity day and a great way to get to know your team mates.

On Tuesday, October 31st, all swim team members will meet after school in Room A 220 (Computer Lab). The mandatory "Concussion in Sports" & "Life of an Athlete" will be taken at this time. You will only be excused from this if you provide me with completion certificates.

On Wednesday, November 1st, all swim team members will meet at West Mesa Pool for Practice! Practice begins at 3:00 and ends at 4:30 PM. If you are late then plan on staying after practice for dry-land training. There is no reason for anyone to be late.

To swim, you must have been cleared by the Athletic Trainer. All swimmers will need suit and goggles. Girls and boys with long hair, please have a cap. No board shorts in the pool unless you want to feel like you're swimming with a large drag parachute. Seriously not a good idea for everyday lap swimming. Also, do not forget your towels. (drip drying is not that fun)

For all Returning and New Swim Team Participants: The Athletic Trainer, Enrique Ochoa, will be collecting all APS Sports Physicals for the 2017-2018 SY for all Fall, Winter & Spring Sports. I will not accept any of the swimmers APS Physicals at any time. All APS Physical paperwork must go through the athletic department, no exceptions!
