Participation in commencement exercises is a privilege and is optional.  Seniors who choose to participate in commencement must obtain an official cap/gown, attend required meetings and rehearsals, and agree to observe the rules.  

•Graduation dates and information will be distributed to seniors in senior meetings with the administration beginning in the fall semester.

•Seniors who do not wish to participate should notify the Registrar’s Office by April 28th.  

•Orders for caps/gowns/announcements are taken in the fall.  The calendar lists order/delivery dates and you may contact the Activities Office for further information.

•In March, students are asked to check the spelling of their names for diplomas.  

•During cap & gown distribution students are to check for pronunciation of their names.

•Students must have their senior ID to pick up their cap & gown on Tuesday, May 16th.

•Attendance at rehearsals are MANDATORY 

•Dress Code: Official cap and gown are mandatory at the Honor’s Assembly and Commencement. 

    Females: Nice dresses or dark dress pants and dress shoes.     

    Males: Dark pants, dress shirt, dress shoes. 

        (No flip flops or tennis shoes)
