Good Morning Hawks

THE NATIVE AMERICAN CLUB meets every Wednesday during lunch in room F-109. The first meeting is today!  All are welcome!


CLASS OF 2019: Juniors there will be a class meeting in Mr. Finn’s room during lunch on Friday. All juniors are invited to attend.


"Buendos dias. The first meeting of the SOCIEDAD HONORARIA HISPANICA is TODAY in room E112. Bring your calendars. That's today at lunch in E112, the first meeting of the Spanish Honor Society.


ATTENTION HAWKS: The A-Hall Lava Pit and H-Hall DECA Snack Bar will have pizza available everyday this year. In addition to pizza and assorted snacks served daily, Subway subs are available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Popeye’s chicken is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. DECA is also baking cookies daily, so come on down and grab one!


SENIORS: Homecoming is September 7th. If you are interested in being on Homecoming court you will need to sign up in the activities office by TODAY. Pictures will be taken during lunch on Thursday in the lecture hall. The class of 2018 will vote for homecoming court this Friday. You must have a 2.0 GPA.


If you are interested in being the TALENT at the coronation, please stop by the activities office to sign up.


Any junior or senior interested in participating in the annual POWDERPUFF FOOTBALL game please stop by the activities office and fill out a permission slip. All permission slips are due on Monday, August 21 at the meeting in the lecture hall at lunch.       


PARKING PASSES are $35.00 and will be sold during lunch and before school in the Activities Office. Please be sure to have the form filled out and bring the correct documentation.


If you have not gotten your LOCKER please stop by the activities office to purchase one for $2.00. We are also selling locks for $5.00. If you are in the wrong locker we will begin cutting locks today. All textbooks will be returned to the bookroom and all supplies found in the locker will be kept in the Activities Office for 1 week.


DRIVERS ED: Any student wanting to take Drivers Ed this year please stop by the activities office at lunch to sign-up.




If you are in need of credit recovery ECademy Registration is now open until Friday August 25thSee your academy counselor for details . Do not miss out on registration if you are in need of  making up credits


Juniors and Seniors: If you have ever thought about going to a Military Academy like West Point or the Airforce Academy listen up: UNM is having Military Academy Night on August 29th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the  UNM Student Union BuildingBallroom C. Please see Mr. Garcia in E224 for more information.



The volleyball team is looking for a few more managers. If you are interested, please see Coach CdeBaca in A124 in 9th grade Academy.
