Fundraising

Every year, the Volcano Vista High School soccer program raises additional funds to pay for expenses that are not covered by the district and/or school.  These additional funds help the soccer program to give the soccer players a great experience for the soccer season.

Specifically, the additional funds are used to pay for bus to Santa Fe game, painting our home field, paying our volunteer coaches, providing players with soccer gear, conducting the banquet and additional equipment needs throughout the season for the coaches.

Times are tough for all families, so the soccer program does not take the additional costs lightly.  We needs each player to NET $300 for the season.  However, many players are able to reach this goal by selling Poster Sponsorships and/or selling Car-Wash Tickets.  As a result, there would be no financial burden on the family.  

Every poster sponsorship and/or car-wash ticket sold, players receive 1/2 of the proceed towards their $300 Net goal.  If a player only sold poster sponsorships that totaled $600, then their fundraising goal would be done.  Or a player could sell $600 in car wash tickets, and meet their fundraising goal.  Or a player could do any combination of poster sponsorships, car-wash tickets and/or donation.  

Some families opt to just donate the $300 and be done with it.  That is always an option as well and no other fundraising would be necessary.
